Welcome to Birds of Malta and Europe. This site is in progress, and more images and contents will be added or changed. 

Birds of Malta and Europe shows the beauty of wild birds caught by camera. To see pictures of a bird, click the thumbnail and you will be directed to the species page. Each picture on the species page shows the date and place where the picture was taken (by placing the cursor on the picture). If the picture is clicked it opens and the first one have a link to free web information on the species (wikipedia). To return to this page always click Birds of Malta and Europe on the menu above. 

If a thumbnail below shows the image of the sky, that means that for the time being there are no pictures of that species, but clicking the thumbnail will direct you to free web information on that species. 

A species can also be found by clicking ctrl and f on your keyboard, and then type the species name. 

Pictures are copyright, however I will gladly donate pictures for conservation and educational purposes.
